Notability
[edit]A Proposed Deletion notice was placed on this page on Dec 14 2007. I am removing the notice and contesting the deletion on the grounds that significant numbers of articles cross-refer to this page - especially that one of the most famous international footballers and football managers Kenny Dalglish who began his playing career at this club, as referenced on the page. Proposed merge with Guy's Meadow
[edit]I propose that Guy's Meadow be merged into Cumbernauld United F.C.. The ground has no independent notability, and the article carries little information and few sources, so can be covered in the context of the club. Jellyman (talk) 23:51, 4 March 2017 (UTC)
- Only issue might be the current Rob Roy ground share, any links for that would then go to the Cumbernauld article. Could be worthwhile delaying it until Rob Roy sort out their own stadium (depending on how long it will take, I think it was already menat to be done by now??) - Fixture for Rob Roy suggests that they're still playing at Guy's Meadow. I think that a merge is worthwhile proceeding with, without waiting any longer, as links will remain back to the Kirkintilloch Rob Roy page. Klbrain (talk) 16:47, 9 August 2018 (UTC)
